Program at a Glance
A powerful, engaging, locally focused storytelling event or event series custom-designed for your community and hosted by Best Day’s Founder. The goals are to bring your community together to create new memories, weave personal histories into local history, and enrich intergenerational relationships. Event size is flexible, and depends on the size of local donations and sponsorships. Options include: one event, two events bookending a month-long story and photo collection campaign, or a series of three or more events each with a special focus. Each event includes a training segment and a on-the-spot practice segment so participants can immediately try out why they learn.

Costs
$250/hr or $1250/day (rate applies to both in-person or zoom format), plus travel expenses for in-person events, and $250 fee per day per person for our team’s travel time if event is outside of Philadelphia, PA
What’s Included?
We will provide all event content and materials, but we need a local sponsor to cover the costs of all event supplies and refreshments, and travel and lodging for our team. This program will bring your community together face to face, weave personal histories into local history, and dramatically enrich intergenerational relationships. The format is customizable and based on size of sponsorship. Options include: one standalone event; a small event followed by a larger story and photo collection campaign; a series of three or more events each with a special focus. Each event includes a training segment and an on-the-spot practice segment so participants can immediately try out why they learn.
Who Can Apply?
The beauty of this program is, any business or organization of any size can be a hosting venue! Any business or organization that is proud of the city/cities it serves and wants to make an even bigger difference in its community is encouraged to apply. If your funding is limited and want to simply provide the space, partner up with other businesses in the community to sponsor program costs. For example, a local bookstore in Haddonfield NJ hosted this program with the local bank across the street serving as the sponsor.
