By Richie, March 31, 2019 — I was at the Mets game with Daddy. I was about 10 or 11. My brothers were still too young to come, and they were entertained with their toys anyway. We used to go all the time together, Poppy and I. Duke Snyder was playing for the Mets, he used to be on the Dodgers which was Daddy’s favorite. It was the bottom of the ninth and there was a walk off home run in 1962 and they beat the Cardinals. I had never seen him so happy.
