By Mama Celia, November 15, 2019 — [This is my] favorite story to tell … I’m going to tell [about] the day my father told me (may God rest his soul) how his family would transform into animals at night. Now at first, I did not believe a single word my father told me because my aunts would swear it was not true. My father told me that he was only telling me because I was his daughter and I came to find out it was true when I saw my father himself transform before my eyes.
We lived on a farm and one night I had just decided to check on our horses to make sure they were alright, and as I was walking towards the barn, I heard something. I saw a dark shadow ahead so I decided to investigate it, I saw a black bear appear from a distance and hide behind a big rock. All of a sudden, I see my father come from behind the rock and I nearly fainted. I ran so fast back into the house, and for the first time in my life, I scared of my own father that night. My father never let me see him in that form ever again. That was the first and last time I would see something so crazy come alive before my eyes. I tell you this story not to scare you but for you to be open and know that there are a lot of things on this earth we simply just cannot explain.
