Thor — The Mighty Champion

By Carolyn Boston, January 16, 2020 — I was watching the replay of the National Dog Show on TV and saw the winner of the competition, a bulldog named Thor. Bulldogs are not a favorite breed of mine, but this bulldog was absolutely awesome. So much so that I wanted to find out his story. It was actually on November 17, 2019, that Thor, a 2 year aged English Bulldog won Best in Show at the Kennel Club in Philadelphia’s National Dog Show. Thor won out over 2,000 canines. His formal name is GCHG Majesu Pisco Bulls. GCHG means Grand Champion Gold. The PISCO part is because Thor is from Peru and his handler, Eduardo Paris, is from Brazil.
The Mighty Thor is a beautiful combination of tan and white markings, also won Best in Specialty Show in Oklahoma City. Kara Gordon, Thor’s owner, shared that she loves animals, especially bulldogs. Her first bulldog was a rescue. Thor’s entire litter was named after superheroes. Thor’s handler said Thor moved like a dream during the competition. His power-packed, chunky muscular body glided through every task with ease and precision. He performed like the champion he knew he was. Thor possessed an air of superior confidence.
Thor won because of his structure and overall outstanding attitude and presence.
Thor changed my mind about bulldogs. I would love to own a majestic bulldog such as he is.
