By Carolyn Boston, February 18, 2019 — The nightly news (no matter what local channel you choose) shows a compilation of medical advertisements promising to alleviate pain, lower cholesterol, improve diabetes, stop the flu, or help heal psoriasis.
Whatever your ailment, these medical advertisements appear one after the other. Switch the channel, and the same advertisement is being shown.
At the end of every ad, the announcer quickly states the long list of side effects of the medicines. Vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, seizures, hair loss, in some cases blindness, suicidal thoughts, etc.
If the disease doesn’t kill you, the medication possibly might do you in one way or the other.
