The Frank Rizzo Statue

By Liz Abrams, June 4, 2020 — I don’t know how many people were around when Rizzo [was], I was so glad that thing is gone. I said I will never forget the day that I opened up the newspaper, (because they folded them then, they don’t do like they do now,) and here were these Black men, stripped down to their underwear because Rizzo thought that’s what they should have done because they were arrested or whatever the story was. How do you do that and expect people to have respect, caring or anything for anybody that’s White and in authority? How? I’m surprised they didn’t get some C-4 and blow that damn thing up. Excuse me. That thing, it should have been gone, it should never have been there.
