The Autumn

By Carol Marfis, October 25, 2018 — I know that it is a well-known cliché that our lives are compared to the seasons and I think that this could be applicable in many ways. I was thinking of the way that days could be so bright and memorable, amazing, and yet so bitterly and harshly cold. This can definitely relate to the autumn of our life. While it can rejuvenate our appreciation of the splendor and excitement we knew at small as well as grand moments in the growing period of our lives, there is also much riveting pain in becoming the person we were meant to be. Both aesthetics make our experiences real and meaningful. In my life, beauty and agonizingly difficult make life what it is supposed to be about.
