By Glenda Colter, November 11, 2014 — One Thanksgiving, after HOURS of preparation, I had most everything done and the table beautifully set, and was just finishing up the last thing. Every person who has ever cooked a large, special, holiday dinner, knows that accomplished feeling! The potatoes aren’t lumpy, the gravy is perfection, and with a little scraping off the bottom, those rolls are a perfect golden brown! I surveyed the beautiful table and went back into the kitchen for one more thing. Imagine my surprise when upon returning to my masterpiece, our cat was smack in the middle of the table, eating our Thanksgiving turkey!
