By Donald Smith Denville, March 24, 2019 — My wife and I raised two daughters in a small home. We didn’t have much money but always got by and had enough money for small summer trips. We often went to Lake Hopatcong with our neighbors and their 5 children during the summer. Here we mini golfed and swam under the sun. Don, my neighbor, and I would save enough money to each buy one beer to enjoy. We looked forward to this as we couldn’t afford it often. It became a summer trip that everyone looked forward to.
