By Carmen, July 30, 2014 — On my 50th birthday I was working at Safeco and given a surprise birthday party!! The theme, of course, was “50s.” I got fifty roses, fifty paper clips, fifty candy kisses, fifty hair clips, fifty one dollar bills – of course, fifty safety pins, and fifty pieces of candy!!
We had fifty cupcakes and fifty pens. It was the best!! (Everyone had to explain what their gift meant. There were plenty of laughs.)
I had just adopted a 4 year old girl. They gave her a 50 piece tea set (that I could have done without, since I was the one cleaning and picking the pieces up!!) Also 50 hair scrunchies and clips!!
