By Fun, July 30, 2014 — I’m very happy that Courtland Place finally is able to provide [a] translator for us to come to participate in the activities we have here. With the translator, I am given opportunities to visit and to know my neighbors and help me leave my lonely apartment for an hour or two during the day. This is also giving me an opportunity to leave my loneliness for the time, because I was able to join my neighbors for fun talks.
From my translator, I can listen to my neighbor’s happy past, this also gives me a happy feeling to carry on the day. I’m really grateful to Courtland Place for doing such an effort to look after our old folks who can’t speak English. I also hope we can have more activities with a translator so we can learn more about other’s happy past and their customs.
