By Vivian, April 24, 2019 — I loved working. I worked for the Office of the Army. I particularly enjoyed working with the soldiers and preferred working with men over women. Times were different then. I was less interested in what new fur coat women coworkers wanted to show off. Men didn’t do things like that. I found retirement difficult. I like to be busy. In fact, I hated retirement so much that I went back to work for Wells Fargo. I have been involved with Hillside [Senior Center] for quite some time, even serving on the board at one point.
