By Daniel Adams, September 5, 2019 — I was born in Grenada, Caribbean, and grew up there where I lived with my mother until I was seventeen. [I was] a member of a family of seven — four boys and three girls. Fast forward to the present time in Philadelphia in a writing class in a senior center that offers many new opportunities to explore new things in life. Now, I am thinking about learning the language that I have recently signed up to learn which is Chinese. A new language has been recommended as one of the ways that the brain is stimulated. I look forward to being able to speak some of the language. My teacher Michael and his wife is very patient and kind as I learn the language. Xiè xiè.
