Ideas

By Frances Bryce, June 27, 2019 — I have had what I thought were some good ideas for making life easier and actually putting my ideas on the market. One idea came when I was driving my daughter from work and on Culver Ave which extends from one end of Irvine in California where I live to the other.

It seemed out of nowhere we were in a fog that completely covered the road. It was as if a curtain was drawn. I couldn’t see the car in front of me, which mean the driver behind me could not see my daughter kept her head out the window and looked down at the road so I could stay in the lane.

I began thinking about a signal on the front and back of the automobile to make driving in fog less dangerous. [I did some] research after a few years. I learned that a manufacturer had now had a patent on such a devise. A friend who told me later that if I had shared this idea with him, it was a simple problem to solve. Too little to late.

The second and third ideas were already on the market when I researched. A seat cover in a package, especially made for parents of young kids where often no seat covers in the restroom are supplied and also a disposable towel in a package for people like me who do not like the dryers that blow all the air around the room.

My last idea was an underarm protector pad for those who ruin garments with perspiration.

Well, at least I got an extensive research lesson and new ideas move in random space, I suspected. Maybe one day I will be first to get off the starting post.

I carry my own single towels and use the underarm protection that I made. Who knows when the light bulb goes on again?
