By Tony S., April 11 2019 — I have been playing golf since I was a little kid, and I have always dreamed of getting a hole in one. Last year, I was playing a round of golf at Overpeck Golf Course and I was on the eighth hole, ready to take my swing. Every time you hit the ball and it gets close to going in, you always wish the ball would go in. I hit the ball just perfectly, two bounces and this time, it went in.
I was excited for I had hit a Par 3 into the hole over the span of 94 yards. This was my first hole in one and the people around me were so excited for me. As they encouraged me to take a picture, I declined their request for that would not be meaningful for me. Instead I kept the ball and wrote the date on the ball; that is what’s most meaningful to me.
