Growing Up

By Roland Norwood, September 15, 2018 — Growing up I wanted to be anyone but me. It seemed like I could never have enough of anything other kids got. What they wanted, they got! One guy showed me how to get them things. It was not nice. The police caught us and my grandmother just cried. That hurt me worse than anything. After that, I never took anything that was not mine (ever again). That thought makes me glad that I’m me and that I had a sweet, loving grandmother (and mother)!
