By Curtis R.  July 18, 2017 — While in Boy Scouts I met a young woman who was captivating.  Her grandfather was the old Scout Master. She came into scouting in his memory. I got her to be a commissioner and later I married her and had three children. We moved in together and worked together at Armed Security, I was her supervisor. We were married after our second son was born. My divorce from my first wife required me to pay off a bunch of debt before the divorce was finalized.  That was finalized exactly 25 years after we were married thanks to my then, soon to be mother-in-law giving me the money to pay off the debt. Erica and I were married in South Park in Pittsburg.

Six weeks after our first son was born I had a stroke. She stuck by me even though she was 15 years my junior. She is the most intelligent, strong willed and loving person I know. She is my “everything.” She is a good mother and wife. Without her I would be dead now. She stuck with me through all of my surgeries, my kidneys are shot, I’m going blind, legs are shot, my hips are shot and she is still here for me. She was my best friend before I married her and I fell in love with the first time I kissed her. Our marriage has been good. At times the age difference was difficult because she could not relate to things in history that were important to me. Over all it has been good and there are lots more adventures to go through.
