Birthday To-Dos

So it’s your birthday
No time to fade away
Go to the dance hall so all may sway
Gaiety and joy coming your way

Wear your fancy dress
With the headdress sure to impress
Matching jewelry
Not shy nor retiring … no need to be

Shoes no longer need to match your purse
Too much coordination is now perverse
Just wear it well
And the night will be swell

Good food, friends & libations
Eat hardy, no need to ration
Take pictures to savor memories
A beautiful experience it shall be
