A Wedding to Remember

By Hazel Nurse, September 12, 2019 — After receiving quite a lengthy and detailed invitation to a wedding ceremony, I declined. This invite was out of town and it was planned to begin with introductions to the different families of the bride and families of the groom. Hotel reservations were in cards since visitors were arriving from many parts of India and other cities far from home. Guests were invited to wear Indian outfits to the ceremony. Especially on the next day which consisted of a formal dance, Indian delicacies as well as American foods. This marriage ceremony on the third day lasted four hours. I remembered the Shinto religion now, you have heard about a Hindu wedding! Over a hundred pictures were taken!
