By Ann von Dehsen, June 11, 2020 — I used to work as a waitress in the Poconos in the late ’60s early ’70s at one of those [places] — not a huge resort — but it had an inn and cottages around it. We used to travel around to the different inns and stuff, it was all beautiful. And I went back about ten years ago and it’s all—I don’t know—like casinos and these huge resorts with indoor swimming pools and casinos and gaming rooms. So, it was horrible. We used to just drive down on the weekends and see all the pretty falls and all. There were lots of waterfalls.
