Ten Sugars

By Shannon, February 11, 2016 — When my parents were young, they lived in New Jersey. They met because they used to both work at the same shopping mall in Flemington. My dad owned a deli, and my mom was a sales associated at the shoe store. Every day my mom would go to my dad’s deli, and order a tea with ten sugars in it. My dad was shocked and concerned, so each day he would put less and less sugar in her tea. She never noticed, and eventually he wouldn’t add any. Now they are married and have 3 kids.
