By Kathleen Fuller, June 28, 2017 — I remember when we were going to school at Burton we didn’t have school buses or cafeterias. My friends and I would walk to school in the morning, and then back home at lunch time. Then we would go back to school again until the end of the day. It was a long walk home for lunch so I used to go to my girlfriend’s house and her mother would make us cream of mushroom soup on toast. I still eat that to this day.
