By Inez, August 27, 2014 – It makes me happy to visit my grands and when they say “Hi Grandma, I love you, I miss you, Where have you been, Can I come stay with you.” We play for a day or two, it makes them happy when I try to make this time special for them. It gives me such a wonderful feeling just to see their happy faces. My regret is, I’m not as mobile as I used to be. But after all, this is our special time! Grandma Time! Kiss kiss, hug hug, bye until next time!
Facilitator’s Note: We were lucky to have one of Inez’s granddaughters join us for one of the writing groups. It is heart-warming to see how much her grandchildren love her and it is always great to have family join the group!
