Back in the 80’s I, and my then husband, were truck drivers. Not just a pick up truck now, but I drove an 18 wheeler! People would ask if I was afraid as many loads were driven through the dark and lonely hours of the night and morning. Well, I may be little now, but then I had about 200 extra pounds on me! One devilishly hot day found me in the humid South and without air conditioning in the truck. After looking around to assure no other trucks were in sight, it seemed like a good idea to just open up my blouse a little and let some fresh air cool me down a bit, it worked well enough that I opened it a little further. So blessed was I with the fact I was finally cooling down, I didn’t see the semi coming up from my left! Well, let me just say, all that honking made me figure that my cooling off was heating up someone else! Lesson learned? Invest in A/C!
