By Carol Swantek, July 19, 2017 — When I was younger, my son and his friends would go to Waldameer [Amusement Park] for their school picnic, and I used to go on all the rides with them. We had the best time, until I lost my shoe on the Paratrooper. I had to walk around trying to find it. When I lived in Norfolk, I went to the amusement park there when I was 16. When I went on one of the roller coasters, it was a good thing that my cousin was with me, I stood right up, and I would have fell out! When I fell back, I hit the back of my head and I got a slight concussion.
